If you are one of our many regular guests and friends, you already know all of us and the incomparable feeling of vacation on the Pyrkerhof. We are already looking forward to welcoming you again.

Otherwise, we would like to introduce ourselves. We - that means George and Vera Seer with our two children, Peter and Anna, and last but not least, our friendly and always attentive team and our dog Kimbali.

A familiar house with a distinguished history invites into one of Austria's most beautiful and traditional holiday and recreational areas.

It sounds almost like a fairy tale, when we listen to the story of the Pyrkerhof which can look back on a remarkable history. Almost every fairy tale begins with "Once upon a time" ... more than 150 years ago - a farm on a delightful spot. In the course of the continuous growth of spa and health tourism as well as summer and winter tourism in the Gastein Valley, the former farm "Lämmereben" became a restaurant and developed quickly as a popular destination for day trippers.

We owe our name to the great favourer of Bad Hofgastein, Ladislaus Pyrker (Patriarch of Venice, Abbot of the Monastery Lilienfeld and Archbishop of Eger). Ladislaus Pyrker was a frequent guest in the Pyrkerhof - in that place, which he considered to be the most beautiful corner of the Gastein Valley.

Constant additions and renovations made the hotel what it is today. Since the year 1981, the Pyrkerhof is family owned. We are already the second generation to manage the hotel with great attention to details. A house - with a remarkable history and an even more colourful future!

On the one hand we are dedicated to tradition and continuity and on the other hand we do our utmost to ensure that all our guests are offered everything they may expect in the 21st century from holidays in three stars plus hotel.

No matter whether you intend to spend sportive holidays, you are just looking for an idyllic unspoiled spot, you are planning an unforgettable hiking tour or you want to discover cultural highlights - we will be glad to assist you in any way possible.
But we like it best to spend time together with our guests - whether during a torchlight hike, a vivacious dance in the evening, amusing tobogganing or an unsurpassed mountain tour.
